These biscuits, born in 1946 from an idea of "dad" Bianchi (Mr.Oreste), were made with poor ingredients and considered very important in that period, since pastry products were a "luxury" at that time. They are biscuits that have raised entire generations, highly appreciated "par i malavi" (for the sick ones) for their simplicity and digestibility.
In 1947/48 their production was interrupted because of the war, since the ingredients became impossible to find, but Bianchi's Pastry started again their production thanks to the arrival of Mr.Gianni, until the final closure of the memorable pastry.
In 2010 the tradition has been brought back from "Black & White" Caffé del Teatro Pastry Shop, which has resumed in this way "a little sweet Biella's history".
